Additionally, he has curated numerous dive packages with highly credible dive operators throughout the years.

Sea Safari VI is 35m in length, a luxurious and stylish liveaboard. Operating all year long, it is alternately based in Raja Ampat, Komodo, Wakatobi and Ambon.

The vessel accommodates 20 people in 10 guest cabins each equipped with private bathrooms and air conditioning. The cabins are located over the three decks, upper, middle, and lower deck. Facilities include a restaurant on board, guest lounge area with 32'' LCD TV and DVD player, and a top deck lounge area with sun lounger and a jacuzzi where you can relax as you enjoy the view while cruising.

The trip will start from Ambon, one of the best place for muck diving. Ambon is known for its muck diving with some of the most interesting creatures like blue ring octopus, flamboyant cuttlefish, rhinopias, and many more. There's also the Duke of Sparta wreck, also known as The Ambon Wreck. The wreck is relatively deep with the top of the deck starting at 15 meters sloping down to 35 meters. The ship has sunk for over 50 years but its features are almost entirely intact encrusted with ciral and has become the host to various fish species and critters.

From Ambon the journey will continue to Banda Neira, which is located 180 km southeast of Ambon. Banda island has a rich history, it was once the only producer of nutmeg in the world. At that time, nutmeg worth more than gold! The remain of Dutch colonization can still be found all around the island. Underwater, Banda Neira has some of the world’s best and healthiest coral reefs. The highlights of scuba diving must be the schooling hammerhead sharks, turtles, schooling fish, big pelagics, amazing marine diversity. Diving condition is generally comfortable calm water, with mild currents, and good visibility.

Itinerary

Day 1
Ambon. Well-known as one of the best dive are for dive aficionados, Ambon harbor is a long, deep harbor surrounded on both sides by steep, verdant volcanic slopes. A true sense of history overcomes one; imagining the great seafarers like Magellan, Cook and others sailing down the same bay’s mouth. One gets the impression that the area have not changed much since the days of these great explorers. The first dive site is under a pier close to the Ambon airport and has the boasting rights of being able to call itself the first great muck site in the world; this is normally where one can get a glimpse of the rare Ambon scorpion fish. Also on offer is a pristine wreck covered with hard and soft corals, lots of fish and resting upright in relatively shallow water.
Day 2-4
Banda Neira (12 dives). Banda has an important place in Indonesian and world history. Dominated by a 2500-foot active volcano, for more than three hundred years these tiny islands were the centre of wealth for the Dutch colonies. The diving is also well-known for its good reef dives on the east and north sides of the islands. Here not only marine life treasures such as pipe fish of all varieties, frog fish of many varieties and color variations, and a plethora of juvenile fish seeking sanctuary in the calm waters, but also the least bashful and largest mandarin fish ever! These colorful gems are out of their hiding places all day and are in such shallow water that they can be seen from the pier. Several famous dive sites are Suangi Island, Lava Flow Banda, Batu Kapal, Next Village as well as dive spot next to the Banda Harbor. Besides, we have an opportunity for trekking to Gunung Api. Next, we go back to Ambon.
