Octopus Dive Indonesia
Overview
Octopus Dive offers you appealing and exclusive packages. We try to suit your certification levels, budgets, and requests. You can dive in Nusa Penida guided by our certified and experienced Dive Guides. The ratio is one Dive Guide for three divers (1 : 3). So if there is more than three divers in a group, we will provide more Dive Guides.
Go for a Fun Diving trip in the ‘Northern Sites’. There are 4 sites which are typical coral reef areas. The fringing reefs are home to incredible variety of marine life, both big and small. So, you can discover not only corals, but also hundreds of fish and other coral reef creatures like turtles. And if you’re lucky, you might as well see the Napoleon wrasse or Giant trevally. These sites are the safest sites around the island, recently classified as The Nusa Penida Marine Protected Area.
Or go to the famous ‘Manta Point 66’. It is the “cleaning station” of the manta rays. They come daily to let the small fish eat their parasites. We have quite high chances (60-90%) to see the manta ray here. Sometimes we can also spot reef sharks, stingrays, and octopuses in the same site.
In the ‘east Nusa Penida Sites’, the dive itself becomes more interesting as it becomes challenging. We might spot some sharks, dolphins, or other bigger fish. This trip is for the experienced divers only, 20 logged dive or above, due to the shape of the bottom present in the dive sites. Because of that, the water movements are a bit tricky and the current intensity can go from moderate to high.
NOTES:
1. Proof of certificates/licence/Dive cert number/QR code is required
2. We require information on level of certifications, last diving date, and number of logged dives. If last diving date is more than one year and logged dives are less than 20, we suggest the trip to be accompanied by a private guide
3. Manta Trip duration is approximately 5 hours; regular trip 3-4 hours
4. Pick up shuttle from Penida Harbors can be arranged in advance (Charges may apply)
